Pudding:
Ingredients
1 1/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tbs. apricot jam
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
pinch of salt
1 tbs. butter
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 cup milk
Directions
Beat the egg and sugar well in a mixer. Add the jam. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt. Melt the butter and add the vinegar. Add the liquids to egg mixture alternately with the flour. Beat well and bake in a covered dish at 350 for 3/4 to 1 hour.
Sauce:
Ingredients
1/2 cup cream
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup hot water
7 tbs. butter
Directions
Melt together the sauce ingredients and pour over the pudding as it comes out of the oven.
